Advanced Hearing Care, Inc. developed Auditory Aerobics® to help people hear more clearly, so that they can enjoy life more fully. Communications is an important part in our relationships with others. Our mission is to develop the best ways possible to enhance one's ability to hear more clearly — at any age. Based near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Staunton, Virginia, Advanced Hearing Care grew out of the pioneering work of its director, audiologist Dr. John Isenhath, Ph.D., an author, lecturer and inventor of the patented “sound simulation chamber.” Dr. Isenhath began conceptualizing on the idea of a plasticity-based training for better hearing while serving as director of Audiology and Speech Pathology services at the Meadville Medical Center, in Pennsylvania. His passion grew when he entered private practice and founded Advanced Hearing Care, Inc. He remains committed to one thing — to expand the ways we treat hearing loss — to go beyond hearing aids, and improve hearing fitness. He believed then and does now that we CAN improve the way people hear, at any age.
